The “Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes” is a nine-day prayer devotion to Mary under the title of Our Lady of Lourdes, a title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary in honor of the apparitions that occurred in 1858 in Lourdes, France, where Mary appeared to St. Bernadette and identified herself as the “Immaculate Conception.” During the apparitions, Mary instructed Bernadette to dig in the ground, revealing a spring whose waters have since been associated with many miraculous healings. Today, Lourdes remains one of the most visited Marian pilgrimage sites in the world. Through this novena, we bring our intentions before Our Lady of Lourdes with confidence, trusting in her powerful intercession and her motherly care for all who seek her aid.
