Announcing: “Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes” — February 02-10

Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes

February 02-10, 2026

The Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes” is a nine-day prayer devotion to Mary under the title of Our Lady of Lourdes, a title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary in honor of the apparitions that occurred in 1858 in Lourdes, France, where Mary appeared to St. Bernadette and identified herself as the “Immaculate Conception.” During the apparitions, Mary instructed Bernadette to dig in the ground, revealing a spring whose waters have since been associated with many miraculous healings. Today, Lourdes remains one of the most visited Marian pilgrimage sites in the world. Through this novena, we bring our intentions before Our Lady of Lourdes with confidence, trusting in her powerful intercession and her motherly care for all who seek her aid.

Announcing: “Novena to Our Lady Queen of Peace” — January 15-23

Novena to Our Lady Queen of Peace

January 15-23, 2026

The title “Queen of Peace” is given to Mary because she is the mother of Jesus, the “Prince of Peace,” who reconciled Heaven and Earth. Mary stood at the foot of the cross, where Christ merited peace for the whole world, and she continues to intercede with her Son to obtain for us the spirit of love, unity, and reconciliation. In 1917, during the turmoil of World War I, Pope Benedict XV added the invocation “Queen of Peace” to the Litany of Loreto. Our Lady is often depicted under this title holding the Child Jesus on her lap while bearing an olive branch, a symbol of peace.

Through this novena to Our Lady Queen of Peace, we ask Our Lady to intercede for peace in our hearts, in our families, in our communities, and throughout the world.

St. Agnes was a young Roman girl who, at just 12 or 13 years old, chose martyrdom rather than renounce her faith and marry a pagan nobleman. Known for her unwavering devotion to Christ and her commitment to purity, St. Agnes is often depicted holding a lamb, symbolizing her innocence and her name’s connection to “agnus” (Latin for lamb).

St. Agnes remains one of the most beloved virgin martyrs of the early Church, and this novena seeks her powerful intercession.

Novena to Santo Niño

January 09-17, 2026

The Santo Niño, meaning “Holy Child” in Spanish, is a beloved devotion honoring the Child Jesus. Venerated as a powerful intercessor for families, children, the sick, and all who seek the gentle mercy of Our Lord, this devotion holds a special place in Catholic tradition, particularly in the Philippines and throughout Latin America, where it has inspired deep faith and countless miracles for over 500 years.

The most famous image is the Santo Niño de Cebú, a statue of the Child Jesus given by Ferdinand Magellan to Queen Juana of Cebu upon her baptism in 1521. Miraculously preserved through fire and war, it remains the oldest Christian relic in the Philippines.

The Feast of Santo Niño is celebrated on the third Sunday of January. Through this devotion, the faithful are reminded of Christ’s humility in becoming a child and His invitation to approach Him with childlike trust and simplicity.

Announcing: “Infant of Prague Novena” — January 05-13

The Infant of Prague Novena

January 05-13, 2026

The Infant of Prague devotion centers on a statue of the child Jesus given to the Carmelite church in Prague in 1628. After the statue was damaged and neglected during the Thirty Years’ War, Father Cyril, a Carmelite priest, felt called to restore it in the late 1630s.

During prayer before the broken statue, he reported hearing the words, “Have pity on me and I will have pity on you. Give me my hands and I will give you peace.” After the statue was restored, numerous miracles were attributed to the Infant’s intercession, establishing this devotion as a source of divine help, particularly for those seeking assistance with practical necessities.
