The Church dedicates the month of August to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, honoring the purity, love, and inner life of the Blessed Virgin, a heart wholly united to her Son and pierced with sorrow at the sight of sin.
Throughout this month, the faithful are invited to grow closer to that same Immaculate Heart through prayer, acts of charity, and a sincere striving for purity, trusting that wherever her heart leads, it leads always to her Son.
