Novena of the Holy Spirit
In Preparation for the Feast of Pentecost
The Novena to the Holy Spirit is traditionally prayed during the nine days between Ascension Thursday and Pentecost Sunday, following the example of the Apostles and Our Lady, who gathered in the Upper Room and prayed together as Our Lord had instructed, until the Holy Spirit descended upon them on the first Pentecost.
