Novena to Our Lady of the Assumption

Our Lady of the Assumption is a title given to Mary that honors the mystery of her being taken up body and soul into heavenly glory at the end of her earthly life. Pope Pius XII solemnly defined this as a dogma of the Catholic faith in 1950, though the belief itself stretches back to the earliest centuries of the Church.
