St. Thérèse of Lisieux, also known as the “Little Flower”, teaches us the extraordinary power of absolute trust in God through her “Little Way” of spiritual childhood. As believers, we look to her as a profound spiritual guide who shows us that holiness is not found in grand, impossible deeds, but in doing small things with great love in our everyday lives. When we feel weak or inadequate on our journey to heaven, we can turn to her with confidence, knowing she promised to spend her heaven doing good upon earth and letting a “shower of roses” of God’s grace fall upon us.
The “My Novena Rose” Novena invokes the intercession of St. Therese of Lisieux, also known as “The Little Flower of Jesus” or “Little Therese of the Child Jesus.” In this prayer, the petitioner entrusts their personal intentions to St. Therese, asking her to send a rose from Heaven as a sign of love.
