Novena begins this Saturday, August 08, 2026.
Our Lady of Knock is a title given to Mary in honor of her silent apparition on August 21, 1879, in the small village of Knock, County Mayo, Ireland, where fifteen witnesses saw her appear alongside Saint Joseph and Saint John the Evangelist, with a lamb and cross upon an altar nearby. Though she spoke not a single word, the apparition has brought healing, peace, and conversion to countless pilgrims ever since, and Knock has become one of Ireland’s most beloved Marian shrines, drawing over a million visitors each year.
The faithful continue to turn to Our Lady of Knock with confidence, trusting in her intercession for healing and hope in every trial. Her feast day is August 17th.
