The St. John Paul II Healing Novena is nine-day novena to St. John Paul II seeking his intercession for healing and spiritual growth. Each day includes a quote from the saint, a reflection, and a themed prayer, covering virtues like hope, faith, and love. The devotion encourages penitents to seek healing while deepening their faith, culminating in a comprehensive prayer for healing and blessings. It aims to connect the faithful with St. John Paul II’s spiritual legacy and foster personal growth in Christian values.

† Who was St. John Paul II? †

St. John Paul II was a Polish priest, philosopher, and pope who led the Catholic Church from 1978 until his death in 2005, one of the longest pontificates in history. Born Karol Wojtyła in Wadowice, Poland, in 1920, he lived through Nazi occupation and Communist rule before becoming the first non-Italian pope in more than 450 years. During his papacy he visited 129 countries, played a key role in the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe, and personally forgave the man who tried to assassinate him in 1981. He also promulgated the Catechism of the Catholic Church, added the Luminous Mysteries to the Rosary, established Divine Mercy Sunday, and founded World Youth Day.
